I kind of think I got shamed this year over Halloween decorations. I always put something out, maybe I go a little overboard. Okay, it's a bit much. But I was picking my daughter up from school the other day, and the neighbors had their holiday display already up and ready to go. They asked me if I was "going to be putting my stuff out soon because their kids really like the stuff we do." Compliment? Or was I called out? I'm just wondering.
To be honest, we've always had plans to put stuff up, and we go BIG. But this really made me wait. Then they asked again. So I waited, till this weekend. So we have some stuff up and ready to go now.
But in your opinion, was I shamed into putting stuff up, or is it a compliment? Either way, it's up and we're ready. I was just wondering.
Don't be mean, they really are nice people. I don't mind getting asked about something that makes their holiday better. But people get busy, I may not have realized it was part of people's holiday. But you let me know what you think.
