LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The jackpot for Tuesday's MegaMillions drawing has gone up again.
The jackpot for the game played in 44 states along with the Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C. is up to $586 million.
Kentucky Lottery officials says they have seen an unprecedented increase in sales ahead of the drawing. If the winning ticket is sold in Kentucky, it would be the biggest jackpot ever claimed in the state.
Lottery spokesman Chip Polston says there is a good change the jackpot could be raised again before the drawing.
