Motley Crue "kickstarted" the beginning of the end on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."  The rockers took the stage on Tuesday's episode of the ABC show to perform their 1989 hit "Kickstart My Heart."

The gig came not long after the Crue officially announced their farewell tour earlier in the day.  During his monologue, Kimmel joked that the band has apparently decided to hang up their umlauts for good.  He also said that this was Motley Crue's final TV performance ever.  Their appropriately titled "Final Tour," meanwhile, is scheduled to start July 2nd in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Some of the Motley Crue members have also been hinting at one last album to go along with the farewell tour, but the band has yet to confirm any forthcoming studio efforts.  Instead, record label executive Scott Borchetta is putting together an album of country music tributes to the group, which is due out this summer.  There is also a movie in the works based on Motley Crue's autobiography, "The Dirt."
