The planned Freddie Mercury biopic is reportedly still in the works. The team behind the film tell the BBC the project is "still very much alive."
They're responding to remarks made over the weekend by screenwriter Peter Morgan, who told the BBC on Sunday that the movie is "probably not going to happen" after losing Sacha Baron Cohen.
Cohen - who had been tapped to portray the late Queen frontman in the film, pulled out in July over creative differences.
The band's surviving members have the final say over the script, and want to keep the story PG, while Cohen wanted to take part in a more R-rated tell-all about the rocker.
